Create a click-to-chat QR, not a WhatsApp login code
This workflow creates a wa.me click-to-chat QR for support, sales, orders, reservations, or customer questions. Enter the phone number in international format with the country code and digits only, then add an optional starter message that is short enough for the intended print size. The result opens a conversation; it is not the temporary QR used to sign in to WhatsApp Web or link a device. Scan-test with WhatsApp installed and with the mobile-browser fallback, confirm the number and prefilled text, then export SVG and add a specific label such as “Scan to order” or “Scan for support.”

How we verify this guide
Before this page is included in the public guide directory, its examples are compared with the payload produced by the linked QRFlow generator and with the export and scan-readiness controls available in the current build. Camera, lighting, paper, print size, and destination apps can still change the result, so important print runs should always be tested on the final material and real devices.
Can you change a QR code destination after printing? Only with a hosted redirect link you control. Compare that path with a fixed static URL before you print.
Use 20-25 mm (0.8-1.0 in) for most business cards. Includes minimum size guidance for short URLs, larger sizing for vCards, quiet zone rules, and a card dimensions chart.
Use static for stable destinations. Use hosted dynamic QR only when you have an editable short link, saved edit key, and a reason to maintain the redirect after printing.
How do I add tracking without breaking scans?
