Event QR codes: quick checklist

Create event QR codes that work for registrations, check-ins, and meeting links.

For events, the QR should open a fast, mobile-friendly page and be scannable from a distance.

Before you print

  • Use a stable link that will not expire before the event.
  • Test on iPhone and Android with mobile data.
  • Print larger if people will scan from 1–2 meters away.

During the event

  • Add a clear call-to-action near the QR.
  • Keep a backup link visible in case scanning fails.
